I went home with a dental device that helped me get my first good night's sleep in years.

Among my many traumas when I was diagnosed with sleep apnea was the thought of being tethered to a machine at night. I was lucky; the internist who discovered my apnea had it himself and he immediately sent me to see Dr. Alpher. After extensive tests and fittings I went home with a dental device that helped me get my first good night's sleep in years. I still remember waking the next morning — happy and without anxiety. I now think of the device as my 'pacifier' and I wouldn't leave home without it.

But not just any device will do. It is very important that it is sophisticated and not just an anti-snoring gismo. The doctors and staff who fit and service it have to know what they are doing. And they have to be available for life's little emergencies — such as when something breaks — because I really don't like to go a single night with out it. And Dr. Alpher and his staff have always been there for me.
